Loving My Neighbors: An Arroyo Grande Pride Event
Pride in the Village is back!
Join us Saturday, June 21st for an evening full of love, celebration, and community. We’re kicking things off with a Pride walk through the village, led by @ag_mayor_caren_ray_russom
Meet at City Council Chambers at 5:30 sharp, and bring your flags!
After the walk, hang with us at @timbrewinery
& Neighbors - we’re both open late! We’ll have free snacks, glitter drinks, and a $10 drawing with incredible prizes donated by local businesses and friends (DM me if you’d like to contribute something!). All proceeds benefit HOPE (@hope.esperanza.sm). Timbre will also be donating 10% of all sales from the night.
Later, head over to @humdingerbrewing
for dinner and an after party! @djsuz805 starts spinning at 8.
Last year’s event was full of honest connection and radiant joy - a reminder of what it means to show up for one another. Shoutout to @jaketovar.co for capturing it all so beautifully. This walk and event means so much to our town. It’s about showing up, being visible, and creating a space where everyone feels celebrated and safe. This is a family-friendly evening rooted in love and allyship, and we truly can’t wait to gather with you again.
Please help spread the word!

So in basic terms, using communication to prevent and/or calm down a tense situation.
Melanie Barket, an expert in crisis management, will lead a training giving you tips and takeaways to give you the tools you need if faced with a difficult, potentially violent interaction during these trying times. Handouts will be provided.

D-Day Protest - Fight Back!
Join SLO 50501 in fighting back!
Two generations ago, Americans rose up to crush fascism abroad. They risked everything — and many gave their lives — to defend freedom.
Today, that same threat is rising again — not in Europe, but here at home. A fascist movement, led by Trump and his oligarchy, seeks to dismantle the very democracy our veterans fought to protect.
Our future — and the legacy of those who fought before us — depends on what we do now.
It's time to rise up. It's time to say NO to Trump, NO to tyranny, and NO to oligarchy.
Join us in defending democracy. Stand up. Speak out. Fight back.
History is watching. What side will you be on?
